Pablo Viana, 33 years old. Entrepreneur and politician. Born in Montevideo, Uruguay. He comes from a family deeply rooted in the Río de la Plata region since the time of the Conquest. His life unfolds between Uruguay and Argentina. He has a background in law, administration, and political philosophy. Since he was young, he actively participated in several volunteer programs in Uruguay, Argentina, and abroad. During his university years, he diversified his education in political philosophy while promoting the creation of think tanks that support classical liberal ideas in Montevideo and Buenos Aires. In 2013, he founded FREE (Fundación Rioplatense de Estudios), a classical liberal think tank with offices in Uruguay, Argentina, and Venezuela, and partnerships with the most important conservative liberal entities in the West. From an early age, he ventured into the business world, particularly in the productive sectors of energy, software, and agriculture in the Southern Cone. Today, he leads Grupo Astrea, a holding company with presence in the aforementioned sectors. In 2019, he entered party politics in Uruguay, joining the National Party and founding the "Avanza Uruguay" sector, which supported Luis Lacalle Pou's presidential campaign. In the internal elections, his group became the second most voted political faction within the National Party. From these elections, Viana was elected national deputy for Montevideo for the 2020-2025 term. Today, he balances his entrepreneurial vocation with public service. His political focus is centered on the establishment and defense of the classical liberal rule of law in Latin America and the reaffirmation of the Judeo-Christian roots of the Western Civilization.
