Rep. Juan Espinal

Juan Espinal is a lawyer specializing in Administrative Law and Public Management, with experience as a university professor and over two decades in the public sector. He has held roles in the Medellín City Council, Secretary of Government of Medellín, Corantioquia, and as Government Secretary of El Peñol. He coordinated the Legislative Technical Unit for Senator Paola Holguín and served as a House of Representatives lawmaker for Antioquia (2018-2022), where he was Vice President of the Fifth Constitutional Commission (2018-2019). He has contributed to key commissions on ecosystem protection and the Hidroituango project and was the Vice President of the House of Representatives (2023 - 2024).
