Heidi Girolamo MLC

Heidi Girolamo, part of the South Australian Liberal Team, is the Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council and Shadow Minister for Health and Wellbeing. She entered Parliament in August 2021 and promoted to join the Shadow Cabinet in April 2022. Since then, she has held portfolios including Education, Finance and Tax Reform, and Trade and Investment. A former chartered accountant and small business owner, Heidi is also a mother of two. She advocates for small government, economic growth, strong regional communities, and support for small businesses. Her experience with Deloitte and major South Australian corporations gives her deep insight into the Adelaide market and the state’s future direction. Heidi has also been on the Board of KidSafe, a child safety charity, from June 2014 to August 2021. She is passionate about early intervention services, recognizing the importance of prevention in health, wellbeing, education, and child protection.
