Dr Andreas Fulda is a senior fellow at the University of Nottingham Asia Research Institute and the author of The Struggle for Democracy in Mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong: Sharp Power and Its Discontents. He has specialized in democratization studies, citizen diplomacy, and EU-China relations. His applied social and political science research bridges theory and practice and aims to shape European China policy.
