The Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China is united in mourning the tragic passing of our Co-Chair, Senator Kimberley Kitching.
Kimberley devoted her work to the upholding of democracy and human rights internationally. She advocated tirelessly and fearlessly for the rights of oppressed peoples in Tibet, the Uyghur Region, Hong Kong and in China.
Today we have lost a beloved colleague and a true friend. We join with her family, friends and colleagues from across the world in grieving her loss, and commit ourselves once again to working towards the causes she held so dear.
